Our Moon by Jennifer L. Allen !! A very beautiful and a heart warming story. Such sweet stories always puts a smile on your face. It was a warm experience and I just wanted to cuddle down in the bed and read this book. It is a very well developed story, that makes you feel more and more for the characters as you progress. I loved the family bond, I loved how innocent and sweet the relationship between Ally and Chase was. The narration was just amazing, even though it was predictable who the mystery guy was, yet I still wanted to keep going. A very pleasant story. 

“I was in a car accident with my parents the night of my high school graduation. I ended up with a banged up head, and they ended up in the ground. I should be sad about this fact, and i guess a part of me is sad at the idea that my parents are dead, but i cant remember them to mourn”

Allyson Monroe wakes up with a clean slate. She cannot remember a thing. After loosing her parents to an accident and being in coma for almost an year, Ally wakes up with no memory. Spending a month at the long term care facility after waking up and getting to know her siblings, Ally gets a green light to go back home. 

After coming home and trying to settle, Ally comes across Chase Baker, A very hot and irresistible rockstar who is a member of her brother’s band JACT. Attraction is instant and she cannot keep herself away, but Ally has a mystery guy in her past whom she has no memory of. 

Torn between finding out the truth of her past and her new found attraction for Chase. What does the future hold for Ally ?

OMG OMG OMG !! HEARTBREAKER by Melody Grace !! Absolutely loved this book. It was addictive, humorous and way too hotttttttt ! The fantastic plot by the author makes it an absolute page turner. I don’t know from where to start, I just loved everything about the book. It will grip your heart and leave you wanting more of it. It was such a sweet sensational experience and I adored all the other characters in the story. I’m on such a book high that I don’t even know what to say, so I shall leave this review short and sweet…

HARDBALL by CD Reiss !! This beautiful new story was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review and OMG how grateful I am for it. This is my very first book by the Author CD Reiss and she definitely scored a loyal reader with this one. I LOVE LOVE SPORT-STARS ROMANCE and this one stole my heart from the very beginning. Dash Wallace, our bad boy baseball god and Vivian Fosters, a shy school librarian. OMG OMG How exciting !!!! I absolutely lost my sleep over it, because trust me you can’t keep it down once you start it. It’s that engaging !!  A very well executed story, loved the plot, I had so much fun reading it, it had great humour, strong characters and so much steamy romance. 

“I was the public school librarian with a reading habit, and he was a mysterious and gorgeous athlete with the grace of the wind”

Vivian Fosters as you have know so far is a “Librarian” at the Hobart Elementary. Vivian is a shy but strong headed woman who is also very beautiful. She is caring, kind and funny. Life had been little complicated for her in the past and she is living with her father after an abrupt break up with her boyfriend. 

Dash Wallace or Dashiell Wallace is a hotshot Baseball Star. LA’s most eligible bachelor. He was physically perfect. Six two and a half. Proportioned by Da Vinci and sculpted by Michelangelo. He is a mystery, as he has never been on television except when he is on the field and his personal life is very much private. 

Their paths were different !!!!!! But as fate would have it, one day Vivian had to escort the underprivileged school kids at the baseball signings event and a quick exchange between Dash and Vivian sealed the deal.

“Please!” she yelled out through her tears. “Please just let me go!”

She ran to the door and started to pound against it, desperate to get out—to get away from whatever danger awaited her. “Please let me out!”

Without warning, the lights went off, and Kim was once again surrounded by complete darkness. She continued to stand by the door in the dark and thought about the man who had been there earlier. He had taken her against her will, kidnapped her, and threw her inside this freakishly white room with nothing but a blinding light flicking on every time someone came in.

As Kim thought about it, her fear started to morph into anger. She felt it moving up inside her, and a long string of curses echoed through her mind.

“Fine!” she yelled out. “You want to keep me here in the dark, against my will, do it! But don’t think I won’t fight you,” she continued. “You won’t break me!”

As soon as the last word left her mouth, the lights went on again. Kim’s heart leaped up her throat, and it felt like she was unable to breathe.

Holy shit, why did it seem like her little outburst might have been a really bad idea?

The door unlocked, and Kim jerked back, staring like she expected that Jigsaw dude from Saw to come through it. With blood swooshing through her veins, pumped with adrenaline and panic, she scurried to the back of the room, pushing her back against the wall again.

He came walking in, wearing a gray suit with his dark hair sleeked back. He stared at her with eyes filled with amusement, yet he oozed menace. Everything about him had her on edge, and her skull prickled with warning.

“Well, donna, it seems that you have caught my attention.” A sly grin settled on his face.

“Let me go,” was all she could say, struggling against the raging fear in the pit of her stomach.

Kim swallowed hard and panic rose up in her throat when he moved toward her.

“There’s one thing you need to know about me, Miss Price, and that is that I love a challenge.” He stopped right in front of her, and she could feel his warm breath on her face. Nausea churned inside her, threatening to rid her body of the few bites of apple she took earlier.

His hand came up between them. Kim couldn’t stop the soft moan that escaped her as sudden fear possessed her. She closed her eyes, unable to look at him.

He grabbed her hair and yanked her head painfully to the side. Another groan moved across her lips, but this time soft sobs followed.

Ice-cold chills traveled down her spine when he leaned closer, tracing his nose up her neck. Kim heard him inhale as he took in her scent. When he reached the bottom of her ear, he whispered, “And I never lose a challenge.”

The promise—or threat—hidden in his words made her legs weak. The minute he let go of the fistful of hair he had clutched in his hand, Kim slid down the wall as her body gave way. Tears streamed down her face, and tremors wracked her body.

He leaned back. “You think I won’t break you? From where I’m standing, it looks like I already have.”

The arrogance in his voice caused her to stop her crying, and she lifted her head to look him in the eye. The way he stared at her, Kim knew he saw her as nothing more than a weak female who would never have the strength to stand up to him. How many women had he intimidated like that? How many women’s lives had he ruined because he thought he could play God?

She thought of the woman who had brought her food earlier, the thin blonde who seemed like she was just an empty shell. Had he done that to her?

With a slow movement, Kim got up on shaky legs and gathered her last ounce of strength. He curved a dark eyebrow, the arrogant smirk never leaving his evil face.

She took short, shallow breaths as her body primed itself for flight or fight. The only problem was, there was no chance of flight. She knew that. So, the only option she had left—was to fight.

Kim squared her shoulders and grabbed hold of the courage she knew was somewhere deep inside her. Kim steeled herself against whatever this man thought he could do to her. With determined eyes, she took one step toward him, her heart beating wildly against her ribs.

“You will not break me,” she spat out, the words giving her more strength than she ever could have imagined.

He just continued to stare at her for a few seconds before he started to stalk forward. Kim inhaled sharply as his scent surrounded her, his body mere inches from hers. He smelled like musk and whiskey. It instantly became the vilest scent that had ever filled her nostrils. She fought back another bout of nausea.

The smell grew stronger as he leaned closer, leering down at her with a glint in his dark malevolent eyes. His lips curved up into a devilish grin before he said in what sounded like a demonic whisper, “Challenge accepted, donna.”

Love Chloe by Alessandra Torre !!! I just want to say one thing, WHY DID IT END !!!!!!! Seriously I never wanted this book to end !! You had me at the cover of the book. It was beautiful, the excerpt got me all excited and the story was phenomenal. I am grateful for receiving the ARC of this beautiful story. I absolutely loved it. It was refreshing in so many ways. It was cute, the struggles were truly heart felt and her determination to overcome the hardships was awe-inspiring. I loved her bond with her friends, it wasn’t superficial which I initially thought (how very presumptuous of me) and how it actually got healthier with time. The little creativity, the author showed by making an Instagram profile and the blog featuring on Cosmopolitan named The Bedroom Blog, where Chloe writes her diary, basically all the events happening in her life giving her perspective, made Chloe very realistic and interesting to a great extent. It’s an interesting journey of a girl who rediscovers herself after her fallen grace. 

“All I know is that when I hit the bottom, I hit hard – Chloe”

Chloe Madison is the only child of the Madisons. “A filthy rich financial advisor couple who pocketed a hundred million bucks from insider trading.” Now they were a front news for the embezzlement they caused. Chloe’s pampered life ended faster than a train wreck. In no time, their accounts were frozen, cars confiscated and assets seized, including her apartment. Basically once a NYU princess – was now homeless !!!

Chloe took her fall hard and turns to her BFF’s Cammie and Brenta. Living on the Cammies couch was impossible, but Chloe had no other choice. At least she got to keep her clothes after all the clusterfuck. Chloe was jobless and in order to get a job, she needed to finish her degree and for that she needed money. Never before was this a problem, but now her fate had twisted. 5 DROP DEAD SEXY STARS !!

Drop Dead Sexy by Katie Ashley !!! OMG !!! I guarantee you a full belly laughter with this one. An exquisite romantic story with a lot of swoon worthy moments and refreshing humour, amidst a murder mystery. Isn’t it a complete package! It was dramatic when it came to Olivia Rose Sullivan’s family – they were hilarious and I loved her witty grandmother Pease. Even though it’s surrounded by a murder mystery, it was funny and cute. All the incidents one after another were ludicrous and unpredictable. I enjoyed this story a lot and had so much fun reading it. My jaw hurts, I laughed so much and even while writing this review I have a big smile on. A great lighthearted romantic entertainer. 

Meet Olivia Rose Sullivan ! Thirty year old mortician who ran the most successful family owned funeral home and the first female coroner of her county. Isn’t it interesting but in a small town, it was rather a curse. Growing up Olivia could never date a lot of guys, courtesy her family business and after growing up few horrific incidents put her through a rather long dry spell. Life is pretty much monotonous for her, until the day of her mothers lingerie shower. She decides to take matters in her own hands and ends up in a dingy bar in some other small town. 

In that dingy bar Mr.Tall, Dark and Sinfully handsome sensed someone staring at him, he jerked his head up and met her gaze. Olivia finally found her one night stand Catcher Mains, A very cocky, man of many talents with a super inflated ego and a GBI Agent (Georgia Bureau Of Investigation). After their rather dramatic one night stand, Olivia escapes from his bed in the morning as it shouldn’t be anything more.

BOOK REVIEWED : Lines We Forget by J.E. Warren !!

4 BROWN EYED STARS !!!

Lines We Forget by J.E Warren is a very enjoyable read. Its a sweet love story which is very well written and the innocence will tug at your heartstrings. Its not complicated, yet its engaging. Its written in a time-lapse fashion, that will reveal the strength and weaknesses of their relationships over the time. I really like the simplicity of the story and it felt realistic and not some obnoxious fantasy. A very cute, romantic and fascinating tale of innocent love.

Charlie Stone is a young musician waiting to be discovered. He is talented, handsome, A VERY BRITISH GUY (need I say more) *drooooling* !!! He comes from an obnoxiously rich family but has no desire to pretend or continue the snobbish legacy. His dream is music and thats what he wants to pursue, even if it means living on his own without Stone family’s resources. He is a romantic and waiting on his forever who wants him for his love and not for his pretentious family wealth. Its just another day for him playing around the corner, when his eye catches this beautiful girl across the road with brown eyes that caught his breath and she might be his forever. Wanting to get her attention, he plays the only song that might get her attention. 

As fate would have it, Anna Garret (A very young, beautiful, feisty woman, who is a PR in a swanky firm, but resents the pretentiousness) catches the lyrics and despite her apprehension goes to the handsome musician singing his heart out. 

A mere gesture of appraisal turns into a full blown conversation and over the time their friendship blooms. With the series of dates, their relationship gets stronger and their love for each other is apparent. They are one of those couple who looks at each other with adorning eyes and always in love. But when the reality kicks them hard, their new found love hits a rocky road. Things are getting complicated and emotions are haywire. A long distance is not what they can survive, yet the love is too deep.

BOOK REVIEWED : Destroy Me by Shana Vanterpool !!!

5 STARS !!!

And she did it once again, yet another gripping story from the very talented Shana Vanterpool. Destroy Me is a fascinating story about burning attraction, painful memories, toxic relationships, emotional baggage that utterly pulled my heartstrings. It was dark, yet it was beautiful. Story is a definite page turner. It will pleasantly shock when you are least expecting it. And OHHHH My Holy Hotness this Green Eyed MONSTER !!!!! I want my own Bach Bachmen !!!!! He is an asshole ?YESSSS !!!!!! But his vulnerability gripped my heart and I was bawling like a baby. At times like this, I run short of words to describe how beautifully nurtured, the story is. 

Harley Evans is the girl next door. She is kind, smart, beautiful with her heart on her sleeve. Harley doesn’t play games and she doesn’t trust easily and has a heart of gold. After losing her father, who was in the Army, Harley knew never ever will she settle for the same choices. Harley fell for Dylan. Their relationship was smooth and beautiful, until one day Harley found out that Dylan enlisted in Army without telling her and knowingly what it will do to her. All the time they were together, it was all a lie. Harley worlds comes crashing down once again. 

Bach Bachmen is Dylan’s best friend. He is sexy, honest and unapologetic asshole and he owns it. Life is a blur for Bach. PARTY, DRUGS, WOMEN & REPEAT !! When Bach gets to know that Dylan has enlisted in Army without telling him, something in him stirred. Bach and Dylan did everything together, but Dylan was a changed man ever since he came back from jail last summer. Bach was all alone. Dylan asked one thing from Bach before going and that was to take care of Harley.

Harley hated Bach ! But with time Bach picks up the broken pieces of Harley and tries to heal her wounds. They bond spontaneously and the attraction between them is almost combustible. But Bach has demons and he doesn’t want to taint Harley with his past. He keeps pushing her, yet when he breaks down, Harley is always there to pick up the broken pieces of him. They have this constant push and pull, until one day Bach breaks her brutally by lying to her. 

The pain is unbearable but Harley cannot let, yet another man use her and break her heart again. But only Harley can save Bach even from himself. 

Sometimes the ones that make us hurt make us hurt because we let them. Sometimes they make us hurt because we can’t stop them. And other times they make us hurt because we want them to. 

Will Bach let his demons win and push Harley away forever ? Has he gone too far this time ?

Will he be able to survive his demons and be a better person ?

Will back give up on Harley to keep his promise to Dylan ?

THE BELLATOR SAGA : THE FIRST TRILOGY by Cecilia London !! This trilogy is hands down one of the best I have ever read. I was blown away with the story. The plot is sheer excellence and its execution is brilliant. The pattern focuses on the past and the present keeping you in synchronisation with the story. The characters and story gradually develops in all three books, creating a mystery that leaves you fixated and it also connects you immensely well with all the characters. Its a concoction of emotions, love, fear, gut wrenching pain, passion, humour, strength and so much more. Its so graphically detailed that certain parts of the story gave me chills. Yet another aspect of my fixation to Cecilia’s penmanship. The review will be brief, so as to maintain the thrill of the story and it should be read in a particular order:

When the escape plan fails and Caroline is captured yet again by the officials, her worst nightmare is going to come true. These people are violent beyond imagination and will do anything to get the information they want. Their torture knows no bounds and they will break her physically and mentally if they have to. Falling Completely by Aidan Willows is a very cute romantic story. It was light hearted and a fun read with a great sense of humour. It was captivating and heart wrenching at the same time. I enjoyed the banter between Maliya and Caleb a lot. The relationship between all the Jameson siblings and Abbott sisters was heart warming and highly entertaining. I loved how the relationships were nurtured in the book. Apart from this it was a sappy, passionate and a steamy love affair. 

At the very young age of 18, after losing both the parents Maliya May Abbott had grown up faster for her age, as she had a little sister to take care of. Emotionally she is closed off, but she loves her sister dearly and would do anything for her. She is beautiful, smart, intelligent and the bold one of the Abbott Sisters. Maliya is a nurse and wants to study to be a doctor to follow her parents path in life, where Annika is a pastry chef. When Annika discovers that their only relative Aunt Trudy, isn’t keeping well ; she decides to move to Sterling Falls to help her with her Bakery. Upon insistence Maliya had no other choice but to follow her baby sister across the country. 

Caleb Jameson is the second eldest brother amongst the six Jameson siblings. Having an acute alcoholic mother who was never present, Caleb had a scarred childhood. Yet he is grown up to be a beautiful, caring young man who was raised by his loving aunt and uncle. They provided Jameson sibling a warm and affectionate household and raised them beautifully. 

Caleb is an enthusiastic fire fighter professionally. He is a warm and affectionate person who doesn’t shy away from expressing his feeling. Maliya and Caleb are extreme opposites, but the attraction and fire between them can burn hotter than sun. When Caleb got hit by a car to save a little boy, Maliya comes to his rescue after witnessing the whole incident. In his state of unconsciousness Caleb kisses Maliya and finds his “ANGEL SOULMATE”. 

Over the time Maliya and Caleb grows closer to each other, despite Maliya is adamant on not having any kind of relationship with him. Maliya has a secret she is guarding and tries to keep her distance. Caleb is ready to tear off all her walls of inhibition. 

Sterling Falls is not Maliya’s destiny but a part of her journey, as she has to return back to London to follow her parents path.
